About

Finding connections within imagery, ideas, and techniques.

Having been introduced to the book arts at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I decided to pursue my Masters in Book Arts at Camberwell College of Arts in London earning my degree in 1998. I was intrigued by the amazing possibilities within the book arts, and how one must handle an artist book to have a complete understanding of the artwork. Drawing upon the multiple crafting traditions I learned growing up in a "hands-on" family, I enjoy exploring different crafting methods and materials in my artwork, but am most often drawn what can be done with paper and textiles.
